Pompano    

The Pompano's appearance is deep bodied and mackerel-like, usually silver colored, without teeth and have a forked tail and narrow base. The Florida pompano, reaches about 18 inches and three pounds.

Mullet

The Striped or Black Mullet is a delicacy along the Northwest Florida and Alabama gulf coast. Many restaurants in those areas serve mullet as the mainstay of their menus. Fried mullet are the most popular. Smoked, baked, and canned mullet are also eaten.

Red Drum

Red Drum (Red Fish) usually occur along coastal waters. Three year-old red drum typically weigh six to eight pounds. The largest one on record weighed just over 94 pounds. When they are large they are called Bull reds and most people do not find the large ones good to eat.
